Im gonna take a wild guess his trigger assembly is either loos or installed incorrectly

You need to put a couple twists in your string to shorten it up? Are you familiar with how to do this?

That 405 is STOUT ! I had to adjust the Brace alot on the one I had.......it will settle in after awhile...

Do you have access to another scope you could try?

I think you have a "bad" scope...at 20 yrds even poor arrows should group better than that...

Get a firm grip on your scope and see if there's any movement at all if you pull up and down or wiggle it.
