Curious.... What'd ya do to your trigger? Did you modify the sear angle or lessen the engagement? I super glued thin plastic strips on top of my trigger bar which lessened the engagement (less creep). I kept adding them until I felt the sear engagement was just right. Gout can be excruciatingly painful and is no joke for sure. Make sure he follows the Docs orders on avoiding certain foods; some of them can promote flare ups. Hope he has a speedy recovery and you two can get back in the woods.

I have to disagree with you guys somewhat. I have a vixen and it is a great bow, but slower bows can never be BETTER than faster bows, considering that all other variables are equal.
