I would prefer to let the bow hunters thin the herd and save all that money. I wonder how much of that mon...

I Think I need to go down to our local Amish community and try to buy some to see if I like it. Sounds like a good way to have meat at camp in the summer. I think it's lunch time.

I usually cut back on the pickling salt about half. I just wrote the recipe as I found it. I have never tried a pressure cooker I think I know someone that might let me borrow one.

corned venison recipe

I thought I would share a recipe I have been making this for 3 years now. Everyone that tries it loves it. The recipe is for a 2-3 pound roast. In a pot 2 quarts water, 1/2 cup canning/pickling salt, 1/2 cup tenderizing salt, 3tbls sugar, 2tbls mixed pickling spice, 2 bay leaves, 1/2tsp coriander, 8...

The sticky post sounds like a good idea to me. I was wondering about the frying pan target, was that done to keep someone from doing some bad cooking in it.

Good one Mike. That must be one of the heavy modifications that old Derick was talking about. If you leave the quiver that way you might need to get a Hawke scope and software so you can do all of your shooting and sighting in at the computer.

Welcome Truglo has a new speed compensated red dot that maybe a good fit for that states the don't allow magnification. I might go with the truglo after I see some reviews of it. I currently have the Lumi zone which is allowed here in Ohio, I have not hunted with it yet. I will try it in a hunting s...
