voting

On behalf of my neighbour I'd like to thank all the members who reviewed the many entries and cared enough to share their thoughts and comments as well as to those who sent their vote our way. Our sincere thanks goes out as well to Boo for initiating this contest and for generously providing the lis...

shadow wear

I've had both the jacket and pants for 2 years now and am still very pleased. They are well made and quiet. Just so you know mine has a lot of dark colours in it. Good quality and good value to say the least. Hope this helps.

I was down yesterday and noticed the number of exhibitors was reduced from other years. The hunting section by itself was more upscale and definitely much improved.

I wonder if we could ask RJ to help out as he has a keen eye for aesthetically pleasing pictures? There are several contenders in this close race. After careful review I'd pick Jeeptag as having the most magazine ready photo. It's nicely done, zoomed in and up close, good colour balance, no washouts...

I've just added a picture of my 72 year old neighbour to the 2007 trophy room thread. He took the 8 pt buck on October 22, 2007 and I  overlooked entering at the time. Sorry for the late addition.
It was a memorable day for us both, as can be seen by his permanent grin.

8 pt buck picture

Here's an entry for my neighbour who does not use a computer. At age 72 he decided to take up archery and asked me to guide him for the first year. On October 22, 2007 this past fall he was able to connect with this 8 pt buck. While he knows more about hunting than some of us put together, I was ple...

European mount

How ironic, look what I was working on tonight. http://www.printroom.com/album_thumb15/81516/20080216053514868079.JPG http://www.printroom.com/album_thumb15/81516/20080216053556993079.JPG Just finished it. I'll get a brass plate engraved and make it complete. My european neighbour was familiar with ...

improvements

I can't say enough about how good these bows work, right out of the box...everyone of them. I've added the Groundpounder quiver mount and several friends now have installed them on their bows. Although the supplied side mount is economical to make I believe Todd's option to be superior. Maybe these ...

colour GPS

I second GPS Central. You can compare several models from their site. As well they have links to independant reviews on most models. I'm also partial to Garmin products and have had several. The one I'm currently using is a 60CS...can't go wrong.

DropTine ~ You need to find one of his choke tubes then measure its overall length. The older Invertor measures 1.5" in length, the newer Invector Plus is apx an inch longer. Once you know that you can select the proper turkey choke.
