Excalibur Crossbow Forum

I use the firenock brand and they are very tough and very good with no problems after two years of using them. They now have a battery that lasts two years. My brother used Burt Coyote brand and they are junk from what I can see.

I say make sure the seam on the rubber runs vertical. Simply pinch the rubber between your thumb and forefinger and rotate them a quarter turn so the seams run vertical. Great and thanks. So do you have your scope ring set to the 285 mark? I only had a chance to sight in to 30 yards and it is set to just under the 300 mark and it hits very close to middle. If it were me I would find out what the length and thread number is from excalibur and go to the local ACE Hardware as they have a great selection of metric,standard and speciality bolts for you to get the xbow up and running for the weekend. Thats how I would resolve the problem.

I find no need for range finding scope and I wouldn't spend that coin for one, that's what my Nikon rangefinder is for.
