Man, I wish that I could spell...Anyway has anyone gone to the trouble of calculating arrow tradgectory for different velocity and bolt weights?

Boo

Boo,

I just finished reading a post bt DH wondering about string options. If it's not too much trouble, would you be so kind as to outline the pros/cons of different strings.

Thanks, crunch

That's a wicked looikng bow. Glad that you like it. My local dealer has some in stock as well as Excals. Hortons and 10pnts. I think I may take a drive by and do a little comparison.
I've talked to a few folks lately that like the Parkers.

Good Luck with it.

Very nice. I've heard good things about Parker bows. I'll be anxious to hear your review.
Whatever bow suits you. We're all in this together.

xboman,

You certainly have quite a collection, and you're obviously very knowledgeable.
Thank-you for your suggestions. I'll hit some of the used book stores and hopefully be lucky.

Thanks, I'll check them out. Has anyone read "Crossbow Hunting"? Can't remember the author. I saw it on Chapter.ca.

thumbhole users

I've been looking for a new bow. (The deal I had on a Wolverine fell through).
I'm wondering if the thumbhole is an issue with gloves on when it gets cold. It seems like a very stable shooting platform.

Wolverine bolt selection

What would you guys recommend as a suitable bolt for a Wolverine? I'll probably go with slick tricks. Liked them in the past.

Digger Question

Digger,

You seem to be quite knowledgeable on the different Ecal models. I found a Wolverine FS, approx 15yo., and am wondering if there is anything that I need to be aware of before I go and see it.

Thanks,

Nice gun. I've got one that is almost identicle, got it from my Dad. Yours is in WAY nicer shape though. Shot my first round of skeet with it about, (Oh Man), 30 yrs. ago. He used it for mainly upland.
Never a problem.

Enjoy,
