twelve yards and closer takes some doing. i'm not the hunter bstout is, but i keep working on it. i took mine last year at 30 yards and it was good killing heart shot.

speaking of bstout. i wonder what his opinion of the G-5 B-52 broadhead is. the local archery shop has a great deal on them right now.

i agree with what ecoaster wrote. going by that true statement i'd say i moved into a pretty good part of texas.

i'm happy to say that here in my new location the vertical bowhunters are pretty cool with me using a crossbow. i havn't met with any bad attitudes yet. the only person who voiced any objection at all was not about the crossbow itself, but the use of a scope. i'm blessed. too blessed to be stressed....

what's weird is that after removing inserts etc. etc. they still come out 20 grains heavier. maybe i need to talk to gold tip. it sure has me stumped.

i made a robin hood today in front of two guys shooting vertical bows. that was a great feeling ! gave me a chance to talk with them a little . it was all good. man ! i love that little vixen.

for two years now i've been using an inexpensive (less than 5.00) knight and hale i bought at a wal-mart closeout. oh yeah, it don't have all the bells and whistles and o-rings and things like that but it stops stops bucks in their tracks. i can adjust the tone on it by how i blow into it.
