twelve yards and closer takes some doing. i'm not the hunter bstout is, but i keep working on it. i took mine last year at 30 yards and it was good killing heart shot.

i'm happy to say that here in my new location the vertical bowhunters are pretty cool with me using a crossbow. i havn't met with any bad attitudes yet. the only person who voiced any objection at all was not about the crossbow itself, but the use of a scope. i'm blessed. too blessed to be stressed....

i made a robin hood today in front of two guys shooting vertical bows. :wink: that was a great feeling ! gave me a chance to talk with them a little . it was all good. man ! i love that little vixen.

for two years now i've been using an inexpensive (less than 5.00) knight and hale i bought at a wal-mart closeout. oh yeah, it don't have all the bells and whistles and o-rings and things like that but it stops stops bucks in their tracks. i can adjust the tone on it by how i blow into it. :wink:
