Is it to bright at night?

Just noticed last night when I was out for an evening hunt that it stays very light in the bush very late. I could hardly beleive my watch that it was time to go and l could still see everything clear as day. I see a lot of fresh tracks around my stand but lately can never seem to be there when they...

I live close to Kitchener and London, so if any of you know where I can pick one up for around the $100.00 mark please let me know. ...

Help - building a ladder stand

Well seeing I am not one for major hieghts (gravity and I respect one another to much) I am thinking of building a ladder treestand. Has anyone made or found good plans for building a lightweight one?? I have thought about buying a climbing treestand, but most of the trees where I hunt are very larg...

The farm that I hunt has cattle on it. The farmer has an electric fence around the grassing area and I have seen many times the deer come out of the thickets, jump the electric fence and continue on. It has been my experience that they get use to it and treat them like any other fence or obstical.

No we looked for it and could not find it. 3 of us did walk his foot steps for a real distance just to make sure that there was no blood what so ever. There was nothing to be found which makes me feel better knowing it is not just injuried. I think I must have just figured the distance wrong.

opinion on set up location

Well not many sleeps left now........ I have a farmer who has given me permission to hunt the back end of his land, he rents the land out to a produce farmer, who also has given me the go ahead. The field is about 40acres and he is growing pumkins. Now given the choice between hunting a pumkin field...
