Shooting an Exomax 225lbs with a FFF string. Brace hight is 1".
I'm shooting Easton 2216s that weight 510 grains (I know I'm throwing logs). My FOC is 12%. I'm using slick trick magnums 125 grain, and my fletching is 4" plastic.
I'm guessing 315 FPS. What do the experts think?

Just get some 8-32 threaded rod and cut it to a length that gives the weight you want to add. Remove the insert, screw the threaded rod in the back end (a couple threads usually doesn't interfere with screwing in the point and I add a drop of glue to keep the rod in place). Cheap and adjustable! :w...

Arrow building help please
Took some measurements of my arrows yesterday before starting to sight in for the season. Found out my FOC is 9.5%. My measurement included the broadhead. Since I wanted to move that up to about 15% as recommended on this forum, I went to Cabela's in Wheeling last night. Headed to the archery depart...

1. I am a member of team PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) and therefor will not eat salads for a month before I hunt. 2. I cannot stop my farts 3. If scent lock would contain my farts and release them when I got home, I could never go home. I read somewhere (I cannot remember where, nor do I stand...

What's really amazing about the Slicks is the damage they do and the trails they leave. I'm speaking of the original offering, not the 'new stuff' the last year or two. I got mine on the advice of Danny Miller ans once I assembled them and mounted them on an arrow, to be honest, I thought, WTF? How...

I'll throw my self out there as someone who wants to be on a team. Since I am a hunting rookie (2nd season) and the deer in my scope are very safe, I will name my team PETA (people eating tasty animals). The first two people to PM me will be my PETA team mates!! OK... got one. You are in bait pile ...

As always the help on this site is amazing, and all your ideas are good. Thank you I love the move of the number two point east to a better pinch point and I see the potential of the southern fence row intersection as well. I am hoping there is water in the stream that is indicated on the topo map a...

Strategy advice... where would you hunt?
OK. I've included an areial photograph and a topo map of where I plan on hunting. Both maps are positioned with north up. Prevailing winds are out of the west south west. I have taken a stab at where I would start to scout/hunt (I haven't scouted the property yet). The red numbers (can't see them re...
