Re: Slicktrick 1st impression
I've been using them for 10 years. They are simple so there is noting to fail and they work flawlessly. Good luck with them.

Congrats. I haven't had any luck yet. Been out 4 times and finally saw a tom with 2 hens this morning but he refused to come over.

Re: Bullheads for turkey with the Excalibur.
What if you forget to fold it before you shoot? I've forgotten to load a bolt and dry fired the bow once but no one gets hurt when you do that. I don't even want to think what would happen if I pulled the trigger on the exomax and the broadhead hit the stirrup. Something would blow up in my face. I'...

Re: Bullheads for turkey with the Excalibur.
I agree Paul. That is a disaster waiting to happen. I'll look into some 25" bolts to clear the stirrup. No other option.

Ask Kathleen Wynne if she can balance an apple on her head for you.

Re: Bullheads for turkey with the Excalibur.
There is still about a 1/2" gap between the back of the bolt and the string if I use these bolts with a string stirrup. I think that might cause an issue shooting the bolts straight.

Re: Bullheads for turkey with the Excalibur.
The big bullheads? Ya, 125g. Should I switch to the 100g or which will be better with a 25" bolt?

Bullheads for turkey with the Excalibur.
Hey gang, I picked up some Magnus bullheads and was getting ready to do some target shooting but when I screw them into my standard 20" bolt, they don't clear the foot stirrup. They don't even sit far enough back for the bolt to touch the string because the bullhead hits the aluminum limb holde...

Re: uncocking difficulty?
Uncocking the bow requires exactly half the force needed to cock it. That's the beauty of pullys, they half the effort. Since you are only moving 1 string/handgrip but you are moving it 2x as far as when you pull on 2 grips, you are cutting the draw weight in half. I uncock my exomax with one hand a...
