Re: Any issue with this arrow recipe for my micro?

Thanks to all of you for help! Knew you guys would come through with some solid advice.
Shooting 100 grain heads certainly opens up the broadhead market substantially. Just trying to get ready for deer season.
Only six weeks and two days until archery season opener here!

Re: Micro 335 Hard Case ?

I've got the GIANT plano manta hard case. Fits both my Micro and my Vortex.

It is VERY bulky, but a beast of a case. I like it.

Re: outdoor life micro test

I'm one of the lucky 33 Micro owners that had a limb fail/break. My left limb. However.... I have NOTHING but the utmost confidence in my micro, and even if something unfortunately does happen, I KNOW that Excalibur will take care of me! Love my micro. Love Excalibur! As for speeds, I'm shooting a D...

Re: Help a dummy understand an arrow/bolt please.

Dude all due respect. You don't seem like you are ready for custom arrows. Stock arrows would suite you just fine. Go online ,google information about arrows and educate yourself first! http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz319/chefrific/WATCH%20OUT%202_zps9sh8erlc.jpg Well Chuck, All due respect, b...

Help a dummy understand an arrow/bolt please.

So I'm looking at a website that builds arrows and bolts. I'm looking at building some black eagle zombie's I have no idea what to choose or why when it comes to some of the options they ask about. 1. Vane Setback. They give the option of choosing a vane setback from 1/2" to 1 3/8". I have...

Re: how many shots on your MICRO?

Had around 200 shots through mine when the left limb split while cocking it. Here is the entire history of my micro, so that we can wrap our heads around the issues a bit more. About a week after I bought the micro, I installed the "air brakes" pads, which required me to remove the limbs. ...

Firebolts - Bullhead from Micro?

As long as it is resting firmly on the rail, would it be okay to shoot 20" firebolts from the micro? And then let's kick this up a notch for the turkey hunters among us. I looked and a broadhead would clear the stirrup on a micro using the firebolt. So what about using a magnus bullhead or Gobb...

Micro\Quill and NAP FOC redux. NO GO

My vortex loved the 170 grain nap foc's. Had great accuracy and devastating results on deer. So when I got my micro, I was excited to use the same head. As I posted on some other threads, I put the 170 grain field points on and the chronograph avg was 319fps. However, as I shot at various ranges I b...

Re: Can someone help me pick an arrow for my Micro? :)

So what would you guys recommend for someone shooting nap foc's (170grain head). Would like to shoot say a 15 or 16 inch to cut down on overlap, but have no idea on what insert or nock to use.

I just couldn't tell a dramatic difference. But my hearing is not the best in world either. Hard to argue with Boo. I'll take his word over mine ANY day.
