Re: guardian anti dryfire design flaw.
Old news to most of us, even before the Guardian ADF the regular scope mount always benefited from countersinking the holes and using flat head screws. I've probably done it to a dozen bows for others that have asked. You're 100% correct in your observations. For most people just tightening the regu...

Re: UPDATE: Assassin 400 TD Issues Fixed
Chester, now you know how to release it. Clear advice given by "Canuck" Janesy. But you probably would like it to not keep happening, so you don't have to release it this way. Try making sure you pull back all the way, and keep the trigger held back for a full second after you shoot. I thi...

Re: Has anyone seen one of these?
That's Kryptek Raid pattern. Micro 335 Raid used it and so did the original dealer only version of the Axe 340. Google image search Excalibur Kryptek Raid and you'll see all sorts of views of them. Sweet look.one shot scott wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 12:24 pmwhat camo is that on the limbs? hard to tell but looks neat!

Nice of Excal to make use of those bottomland stocks from the Wolverines. Still looks good with black grip panels. I found the dealer online that is selling them

Nice work!
But man, archery season just opened here in our 1-buck state, and there you are with rifle season already going and 2 bucks tagged already.

Re: Scope
What you're observing is parallax. My Tact 100 has bad parallax at any distance. Gotta really keep eye alignment perfect to be able to shoot consistently with it. My Hawke and Vortex scopes have much more forgiving parallax.

Freezer Queen and a lesson learned
My wife and I, and my parents, and the brother I hunt the most with all ran out of venison earlier than planned a few months ago. So we had it set that we were going to put a doe in the freezer the first chance we had this fall. Season opened yesterday in MN, and we got out for the first sit in the ...

Re: Excalibur Beacon Illuminated Nock
When setting up my bro's arrows for the Strykro, I went with the Beacons. After handling them enough, and now shooting with them plenty, I now know they are what I'll be buying the next time. Biggest reason I'm transitioning to them is the aluminum bushing is a lot better long term for the back of t...
