Re: O/T Hunting Boots???
I like the Kenetrek Mountain Safari boots that are made in Montana. These are uninsulated as we seldom see any real cold temps here. They do make others with insulation for cold weather. They are expensive but my feet are worth it.

Re: Wet crossbow
The measured trigger pull on my exocet was just a bit over five pounds when I got it and the creep up to the break was awful, like it hit a wall. The trigger pull after disassembly and cleaning is now exactly three lbs and it is smooth as silk with a surprise break. My accuracy increased a great dea...

Re: Wet crossbow
(1) How about using Compressed air and then a dry lub? (2) Where would you spray the Lub? Migabby In order for compressed air to do any good and in order to use a dry lube you have to remove the stock from the rail and trigger assembly. Then you have to remove the trigger assembly from the rail by ...

Re: Wet crossbow
I have been working on shotgun triggers for twenty years, mostly trap guns so I have a degree of comfort in this area. I reworked the trigger assembly on the old exocet 165 that I bought. To say it had creep would be an understatement. When I pulled the assembly it was a mess and I was surprised it ...

Re: Wood vs Composite
I wear my crossbow while on stand. My safety harness has attachments that allow my crossbow to always be in the *ready position*. My crossbow sits on my lap and is attached to my harness by rubber coated wire hooks. One hook attaches to the front of the synthetic stock and the other hook attaches t...

Re: Who has used rack stacker mineral fountain?
rack stacker products still leave a bad taste in my mouth due to the posts last month here on the forum that were blatant advertising. Didnt sit well with me that the one promoting these products busted crazyfarmers chops either. http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=34067&...

Re: Excalibur String Stopper
I got pretty excited about this when Pydpiper first broke the news that Excalibur was going to start making them. Cant wait to see them.
I also would have liked to see them adjustable like the newguy stoppers as ducthhunter mentions. I have one set of the ngss and wish i could get another.

Re: Scent Lok found guilty!
All those carbon based scent controllers are bulls**t................ And I dont know why that judge didnt whack them with the "regeneration" part as that is totally bogus as you really have to get the heat a lot higher then any clothes dryer available in order to restore carbon based abso...
