Re: Putting Rocco to rest
There's no easy way to say good bye to unconditional companions. Sorry to hear about Rocco, thoughts and prayers from the North.

Re: FINDING THE STATIC SPINE OF ARROWS
Is it best to locate and index prior to cutting the shafts down to size or is it better to cut to size then proceed?

Re: FINDING THE STATIC SPINE OF ARROWS
Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) will work to reduce the surface tension of water, about 20% should be enough to help.

Re: Micro 335 Nightmare Gen2 riser?
Well put One Shot Scott! There are too many stories including my own, how Excal goes beyond expectation. It's tough to have sympathy for anyone coming to this forum to tell members how poor Excalibur's product is, when a simple call or email to them will resolve any issue.

Re: RAIL MODIFICATION REVIEW
Hi guys, how much you have paid for the anodizing process? I wanna do this at my Micro 355. It's around $200 plus shipping. FWIW, when I first started playing with my crossbow I tried 3M teflon tape on the rail to see if there was any increase in speed. I found no difference in speed with the tape ...

Member Shout Out
First and for most, I'm going to give a shout out to every member I've dealt with here. Every one has been awesome, but a recent exchange with flighattendant was what brother hood of hunters is all about, it's nice to know we can still make deals happen with some honour.

Some great points, for all 3 units and some I didn't give much thought. I'm glad I asked for the opinions, I may have to toss a coin more then once.

Besides all the other reasons, Toronto is also known as Hog Town, so where else to get hog hunters!

Opinions on Matrix
For those of you who own a Matrix, what would you say is the best all round? With choices from 305 to 400fps, I'm looking to find a decent draw weight, reliability and the most speed that will fit the bill so to speak. I'm leaning toward the 330 to 380, I'm leaning more to the 355, but would like to...

Re: Question about crossbows
There are no license required in Ontario for crossbows, but any misuse will fall under the firearms act and fines will be under the criminal code. To safely target practice you should have 50 yards of length and 20 yards wide that would need to be safely closed in, all the way around, so there is an...

Re: Excalibur Matrix 350
Welcome and congrats on your xbow. Best advice I can offer, is don't aim at the same spot on your target with the second shot, I damaged a couple bolts making this very mistake.

Re: looking and held some bows
It is only recently they have gotten so small/short with the Micro series. The older series were able to add stock extensions of different lengths, I have one my Phoenix.schott wrote:new to crossbows, could someone tell me why they don't offer these bows with adjustable stocks

Re: looking and held some bows
That raid was a 335. Thats the great thing about Excalibur. ...we all have choices of bows that fit us best. The Micro and me are like bread and butter  X2, the variety is great! I've been looking to purchase a new one, thankfully hunting season is a ways away, so I can take my time to make a...

Re: looking and held some bows
I agree, I didn't like how short the Micro was when I put it up to my shoulder in the store. It was well balanced, light and surprisingly small, just too short at the stock IMO.
