Re: killzone

Hey Bob, how you doin? Wayne here. My son shot two deer with a Rage crossbow head this year and I was so impressed I got some Rage heads and tried them. I was worried they might open on release with my 355 but they didn't. Flew just like a field point and gosh o mighty what a hole. I got the 2.3 Ext...

Re: ADF ON MATRIX

Heads up on the ADF on a Matrix. I wouldn't shoot without one on either of my two Matrix bows. However, if you shoot Lumenocks make sure you do not buy the ones with the groove going all the way around it. The slot hangs on the ADF finger making an occasional erratic arrow. I had a friend whose alum...

Re: String Broke after firing 8 times

Well, the same thing happened to my son. He borrowed my 355. He normally shoots a different brand of bow and wanted to shoot mine because it is so much smaller and shorter. I had left my bow in the camper at the lease and wasn't with him and hadn't taught him how to decock it with the stringing rope...

Re: Because it's fun .

Yeah, I just got my 330 rail back from the graphics company. Had it camo dipped and treated with a coating that is impervious to abuse (like the ones they put on rifle barrels). They did one heck of a job matching the camo too. Why did I do it? Because I could...... and I wanted too. Eh eh eh......

Re: Discontinued for 2014?

Don't be discouraged about your new bow being discontinued. Excalibur crossbows are like the Browning Citories of the shotgun world. They are the best made and save for changing strings, they are indestructable. That bow will outlast you. Shoot and enjoy it. Most likely you kids will inherit it and ...

My take on this buyout

Does anyone here shoot over and under shotguns? My point is, what are the best guns out there? I believe that ALL pre 2015 Exalibur bows are like the Citoris of the gun world. They were built to last and shoot and still do their job, even the twenty year old ones. IMHO the Excalibur bows on shelves ...

Re: OLDER HUNTERS

I am 70 years young. I back my 4 wheeler up to the deer, tie a rope around its antlers or neck pull it up so the back end is all that drags, tie the rope to the back rack and take off. Cheers

I used one of those off my Taczone for the back and ordered a 30mm one off of ebay that fit just fine. Cheers

Re: Who has a GoPro?

Laura, look at this, I think Midway has it. It is called a Picatinny-Style Quick-Release Video Camera Mount. I mounted a short base on the bottom of my stock to mount a folding grip. This mount fits a standard rail mount. Just an FYI. Cheers Wayne.

Re: Need warranty work

I had the same problem with one of my tac-z's. It appears the little lock ring on the front lense vibrated loose and let the lense work forward to blurr everything. Sent that one back. I was afraid if it worked loose moisture would get in. Tightened the front ring on the others. So far so good. Cheers

Re: brain fart?? or old age

I got to the stand, cocked my bow, got comfortable and reached down to load an arrow when I realized the quiver and arrows were still in the truck. Huffed, puffed, and called myself a lot of deleted explatives as I trecked back to the pickup. Got back, got comfortable, loaded an arrow, looked around...

Re: The rope cocker answer

I drive my 4 wheeler through mud, sump and over limb and log. I buy equipment that keeps up with me and performs every time I need it. That is what an Excalibur is for, to hunt hard with, and they are tuff and always ready. I don't have scratches on my crossbows, mine are all battle scars.
