Report on Excalibur Anti-dry-fire
Recieved my Anti-dry-fire less than a week after I ordered it. The French did them selves proud, so I can't say Frogs. Works flawlessly, just like a Tenpoint. Finish is perfect. All fasteners and allen wrenches included.Just remove the Excalibur scope mount and replace with this ,after moving the ar...

Ordered A lot from BBS and never had any problems. They may not always be the cheapest, but their ads honest and shipping well wrapped and prompt.

Re: New Cocking Device by TenPoint
I'm sure it will work fine for the first few months. I'm worried what happens when it gets dirty and shows wear.

Re: New Cocking Device by TenPoint
I am not a fan of new stuff but that I like. But.... how long before retractor quits working just like tape measures. Think I will stick with my ropes unless I hear the warrenty is for life. Then I would have to weight in the cost and decide. Good idea because I do find the rope to be a bit of a pa...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy
I KEEP SAYING OVER AND OVER " A CROSSBOW SHOOTER WITH A BENCH REST, USING A REAL GOOD SCOPE VS A COMPOUND SHOOTER" WHO WILL WIN ??? I know that if both were shot off hand the GOOD compound shooter with the right equipment would win. I say GOOD shooter, because if both were beginers I believ...

Glue for fletching
Does anyone have any tips on how to apply a decent bead of glue on the vanes used for fletching. I don't know if there are any special applicators out there. More likely then not I make a mess of it. Maybe just practice and a steady hand.

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy
I have to admit that I am a real coward. I have 9 crossbows and have yet to try an off hand shoot. It's a top of line crossbow, a good rest, scope and matched arrows, and I do pretty good. A heck of a lot better than I did shooting a long bow and then compound for many years. Of course I realize tha...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy
Does this make a difference? NO one target 4" bullseye. Use 1" round dots or squares placed approx. 6" apart. One arrow per dot. You have to hit a small target, not aim at a big one.
