Re: Arrow epiphany-or- YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME
Think I'll keep on squandering two bits a pop and glue mine in. Have no need to align fletch w/ blades in bheads. Quite awhile back I flung 5 into 1" C-T-C at 50, didn't sort the arrows neither, quit while I was ahead. Ah, the good old days................ I am amazed what is possibl...

Re: I Changed my Mind.........
Awshucks,
Thank You for the explanation and picture ... beautiful bow.
I guess the dis you mention in your post are the dissipator bars?
My Ibex came with them and for me they can only help not hurt. Is there a link to the slo-mo video mentioned in your post?
Thanks.

Re: Easton Firebolt Inserts
92 grain Lock-N-Load brass insert with set screw - no glue needed.
125 grain field tip.
2" vane of your choosing with as much helical as possible.
Bare shaft of your choosing: Firebolt, Gold Tip 2 or 3 - all work well with the above setup for me.
All the best.

Re: Firebolts Vs GT laser II
Gamikatsu, I just finished my arrow journey and for me the Firebolt shaft is similar to the Gold Tip 2 and 3 shafts. There is a slight difference, but, my indoor testing from rest and freehand out to forty yards nothing huge. Past forty and shooting outside might have changed my results, not sure - ...

Man I love my Excalibur
At the archery shop to shoot some indoor target and noticed a $1,400 cam-crossbow on the service table with a ticked off owner. The lady hunter was trying to fix her built-in cocking rope assembly that had broke on her out in the field. I offered to help and while we talked for the next hour she sai...

Hex bolt scare - my fault
Came home after testing some arrows and realized I have about 500 shots on my Ibex. Got out the six hex wrenches that cover everything on the outside: 5/64" 3/32" 1/8" 9/64" 5/32" 3/16" All snug till I got to the top hex bolts of the limb/dissipator brackets; both took ...
