I think I have noticed an increase in numbers so far in the hamilton area. I found that last year with the lack of rain that the deer were grouped somewhere else near water. This year I have seen alot of does, some with fawns. However, for the past week its been tough to get any in sight.

Well, I MIGHT be considering selling my 'max. Been thinking about a thumbhole stock. What would be a fair dollar amt. be for a 3 year old bow?(Can$) I think I am going to keep the scope, etc. Likely sell it with some bolts for the new owner to sling, and the cocking string with the fiber optic sight...

Thermacell??

Has anyone used the mosquito repellant called thermacell (thermacell i think)? I was chased out of the woods early by the pests right around prime time because I was loosing too much blood! I think these things burn butane. could it repell deer too?

I went into a shop in Hamilton last night and saw a middleton on the bench. The dude claimed it was way better than excal's. ..right in the face. Man that exomax kicks like a mule. Had my eye too close to the scope and it bruised my head something fierce!! dont be fooled, that rubber peice on the end on the lumizone is mostly for show!! :oops:

I had a self-induced problem with my limbs a month ago. Excalibur looked after me much better than expected!! Their customer service is excellent!! I'll never buy another bow that does'nt say excalibur on the side.
