Sounds like your in a bit of a conumdrum. Your young food plot area not fully established to let you know where the deer will enter and exit. It would be nice to have your hunt house built for a long time so deer have a chance to get use to it. When you build it consider putting another pipe into a ...

Bye the way congrats on the step to xbow hunting. It has been the #1 most exciting reason for living for me for 20yrs. The fact that you can share it with your son is even better. An old fart I have for a friend started me on it because his son isn't the hunt type. He, to this day has no idea of the...

That sounds awesome! I am interested in blinds as well. I probably got about 1/3 of all my archery deer from laying on my belly on the field edge. The whim factor is awesome, you can instantly go where the deer were the night before without making any noise putting up a stand.

I was going to try digging a 4x7 hole with a backhoe and deep enough that you could sit comfortably with your shoulder of choice above ground level. Then using 2x4s and a old sheet of 3/4 plywood build a cover or roof for it just high enough to belly into on the side facing the field edge. What are ...

two stands

Hi
20ft. is probably about average of the stands I have to. I like having a couple stands fairly close togeather as well. It's nice to beable to hunt with a buddy and be close enough to hear the shot but not close enough to decrease chance of success.

Age

I just started in the last year or two planning for the future. I have been hunting private property where the landowners, except one give pretty much anyone who asks, permission. I have for this reason, been using portable hang on stands with 5 or 6 removable steps at the bottom. This, because I us...

Hi You have a 160 gross scored rack don't you. That is a extremely respectable rack where I, or most anyone else comes from. No more than low double digits score that high in any given season in my county. As far as weight goes the average around here is about 80lbs. That has a lot to do with the hu...

Does anyone know if laser sights are legal to use on a bow in Ontario?
I have looked through the regs. and found nothing related to them. They are available for purchase in Ontario, I would like to know, so any help would be appreciated.

Question

Hi
Two numbers are for shaft diameter and two are for shaft thickness, all effecting arrow or bolt weight.

Moose

The MNR has been tracking this moose as it travelled and they say it is the same moose. Which is believable since every sighting seems to be a young bull. Apparently, it recently met it's demise with a combination between a truck and police bullets. That should end it for that one, but there has bee...
