Re: Excalibur Revamped
A buddy bought an excal in the early 90s. I bought my first one, an exocet in 97. There weren't very many options back then but everyone that had one was very satisfied, just like today. I doubt that any other manufacturer of crossbows has worked as hard at expanding hunting opportunities. My hats o...

Re: Need some info
Check out the gopro website.
www.gopro.com
Watch their videos. Yours will be just as good.
A buddy took some video on his boat.......in the landing net............under water as the fish was reeled in.
The gopro will be on my crossbow next season.

Re: First Crossbow
From one forum newbie to another..........welcome aboard. I'll be looking for a vortex myself next year. Money is too tight right now. I currently shoot a 200 lb. exomag. These crossbows are so easy to set up and shoot that you hardly need a manual. But do pay attention to all safety warnings!!! Kee...

Re: Unexpected suprise
Great group of hunting buddies you have for sure.
Friends for life sounds more like it.
BTW, when it comes to physical therapy, really push yourself as hard as you can. Only your hard work will get you to where you want to be.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Re: uncocking difficulty?
Like everyone has already mentioned, it's easy to uncock. For me it's claws over the string and not under. I also shortened the cocking rope enough that it shortens the cocking motion needed for my exomag. I just keep a firm grip on the handle when uncocking and never the rope as all of it will go t...

New to the forum
Just joined so I can get in on the fun. As a kid, I built my own bow and played with it shooting carp in the local drainage ditch. Then lost interest for a long time. Then started back up in 83 and shot my first deer [a doe] that season. That was with a verticle bow. Then with all the gizmos on vert...
