Re: I'm in BIG Trouble!!!

All joking aside, it's really all about mutual respect and consideration. My current wife and I have separate checking accounts, separate credit cards and we both have our own separate pensions. All household expenses are split down the middle. We have no need to keep the personal things that we buy...

Re: Removing carbon arrow inserts easy...

It's simple... acetone. Put the insert end down into a jar just deep enough to cover the insert inside of the shaft. Acetone breaks down the adhesive and the insert comes out. Has never hurt any shafts that I am aware of. I've shared this info several times on here and other forums but apparently pe...

Re: I'm in BIG Trouble!!!

You should buy a new crossbow to go along with your new Bog-Pod. It's the right thing to do.   That's what I would do. If shes going to be mad she might as well have a good reason. :D but keep in mind that I'm on my 3rd wife. The second one left me shortly after she walked by my gar...

Re: Matrix 330 vs 355

I don't have the 355 but I do have the 330 and the 350. Both are great bows. I thought about selling the 330 to buy a micro 335 but it was a short fleeting thought. Both are so trouble free, accurate and consistant that I just can`t part with either. I still might buy a Micro 335 outright anyway :mr...

Re: Matrix 350SE Owners

I have the 350le. It's a great bow, I`m suprised a whole lot more here don't own them. I did change scope, added adf and Danny Miller bumper also put one of your 8190 flemish strings on it. I think you'd be happy.

Re: goofy at the bow shop

As noted ---got to any of the big box sports stores ---- strings will be in the bumpers ---- I have give up telling the sales clerks of their errors --- they always answer ---"that is the way they came"---- thus anyone buying an Excal from one of these stores thinks they are doing the rig...

Re: Old NAP Spitfire weight inconsistancies

Last time I did was about a year or so ago, and I got 4 grains difference, it will not affect your accuracy inside 50 yards though. I've heard from many that a small weight varience won't have noticeable differences out to forty yards and I limit my shots on deer and turkey to about 30 yards anyway...

Old NAP Spitfire weight inconsistancies

Just opened two packs of Spitfire 100 gr broadheads that I bought at BPS back in 08. Upon weighing them I found that out of the six, the lightest weighs 107gr and the heaviest was 112gr. Has anyone here actually weighed the newer production Spitfires and if so, what do the 100gr actually weigh?

Re: seasonal bow maintanance

Didn't mean to cause strife by commenting on my wife but I have a great appreciation for mine as she is my 3rd. My first two actually destroyed or sold some of my things to retaliate for not asking thier permission. As for maintenance... I tend to be obsessive about maintaining everthing thing inclu...

No doubt about that, now hopefully she doesn't catch on to the fact that nothing was wrong with my tact zone :D    Better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission? I don't understand this concept of "asking wife`s permission". I must have the best woman in th...

Re: Which Matrix should I let go?

Thanks for the replies, I was already leaning toward keeping the 350LE anyway and keeping the MOBU camo spare limbs as spares for the 350. I will be pulling the Trigger Tech trigger and the scope from the 330 before it goes and replace the factory trigger and scope that came with it. I dont like mix...

Which Matrix should I let go?

Made the mistake of trying out a Micro 335 at Bass Pro today. I want one in a bad way. I have a Matrix 350LE and a Matrix 330. Both have single stage Trigger Tech triggers, Vixon Master Flemish strings, DM string stops and ADF rails on both and both are consistant tack drivers. I also have a set of ...

Re: Matrix 350le slow ?

Shot my 350le through a chrono today, 405grn 18inch bolt with Flemish string = 315fps. Seem slow ? Anyone else have some numbers... Mine shot a 350 gr arrow with the supplied factory string at exactly 350 fps shooting a five shot string but, my final setup is a 36 strand flemish string and 388 grai...

Re: Arhg! Striving for perfection...

I thought everybody did this when building arrows. I have 19 arrows that weigh 288.4 gr & 5 arrows that weight 288.7 gr. I use .3 grain nylon washers behind the field points on the 288.4 gr arrows to get them to weigh a total of 388.7 grains. My wife says that I need to get professional help and...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy

Aluminium rail. I got a 350 LE for my son as an early graduation gift. My hunting buddy ordered one within a hour of seeing/shooting my sons. Czy_Hors Thanks for the info ! Looks like I will be buying one then. - Matt The 350LE may be a reworked 405 but it's a great crossbow. Mine was shooting exac...
