I would have to say that the guys that I know are all good hunters. The vastness of our terrain makes us aware of everything...most of us can assess the best place to be in a quick glance of the area. I am not saying that canadians are better hunters than our american friends, but I will state that ...

Great site with tons of good videos...I am not sure if they have a size limitation or not though.

I went and bought a Boo custom string with cat whiskers, and then installed the STS bumpers and it makes a great difference. I also removed the quiver mount completely...less to vibrate. I carry my quiver on my pack or place it beside me while sitting or on stand.

The only reason I would not shoot is for fear of being charged and not being able to hunt for a few years...otherwise it would probably get it

It's just a deer yard...and is legit. A member on here took a few photos a few weeks ago from the local yarding area in northern ontario. 10,000-15,000 yard up in an area of about 100 square km. Go for a drive and you can see 200-300 deer no problem. My mom's partner goes down and whistles and they ...

With either of those bows, you'll have more speed than the deer will ever know. I have the equinox and I actually really like the thumb hole. It makes it a lot easier to hold and carry when you hunt all day.

I used Rick Poulin out of Ottawa for a few deer mounts. I was able to check out quite a few jobs on the go and was very impressed. He has a lady that does his bird work and she does good stuff. He had a real cool grouse mount that I would love to do one day...some nice duck and geese...I am pretty s...

Well, time for me to vote. I will warn you all that I am a little biased. I've been hunting deer for about 10 years now, and in 2008 bought myself my first crossbow. I've had good luck year after year, but the big buck as always eluded me. 2008 was a banner year for me, I managed to shoot 2 big matu...

I wouldn't worry about speed reduction...you shoot an excalibur...you have speed that the deer will never appreciate.
