I just went and watched the video of the crankaroo looks easy but too noisy for a still morning/evening in the stand....every deer within 200 yards would hear it ratcheting they need a silent version I though of turning the top/seat section to the side slightly....might give ya more room to place th...

Re: cocking in a tree stand

I would love to know what you think about your Equalizer climbing stand. I have been considering one now for a couple of years. Would you mind giving a quick review of what you think are both the good and bad associated with the stand? I can't give much of a review since I just got it this summer a...

cocking in a tree stand

I have not tried this yet with my Exocet.

I have a Summit Viper and an Equalizer stand. Both of these stands are sit n stand type climbers with the bar that completely surrounds you.

I can't picture it being easy to cock a xbow in these....what am I in for?

I was impressed

I bought an Exocet last year in hopes of getting a non-hunting buddy out during Ohio's archery season. Well he never made it out...not even to practice. So I have this barely used Exocet and a dozen GT II's I made up for it. I got it out...fired some practice shots...got it the Varizone scope sighte...

Wow! Did anyone visit that site.....archery talk? The guy gets pounced upon for posting a "graphic" video on youtube! There seem to be a whole lot of folks paranoid about the anti hunting crowd. For what it's worth, my attitude is that we need to show some grit. It we hunters start acting...

In North Carolina, we use no tags. You can kill six deer total, two per day. Two must be visibly antlered; two must be antlerless; two can be your choice. All can be killed in any season, in any three consecutive days, or whenever you like, in any combination you like. We don't have to take them an...

Re: What do you think ?

The DNR wants fewer Deer. We want bigger racks on the Bucks we shoot. I dont think it would fly. Not everyone wants to be part of your 'we' Sure...most deer hunters would like to bag a big buck. But the lengths that people are willing to go to to get one is the variable. Some will do WHATEVER it ta...

I could shoot a 36" draw

if it had a 2" brace height and I wore chain maille on my left arm/hand lol

I will just reitterate what others have said....36" must be the axle to axle length of the bow

I am 6' tall with pretty long arms and shoot my Hoyt Vtec set to 30.5" draw

Ive never shot a bear....or Slick Tricks but any decent broadhead out of an Exocet will do...theres way more than enough power there to punch a hole through a bear...and lots of quality BHs out there I used G5 Strikers last year....extremely sharp out of the package and pass through deer like warm b...
