I think finding a place to rest the forearm would be better than using your chin as a butt plate. Better for me at least.

I keep seeing the posts that a one armed man has to use a bow-loc because he can't cock a x-bow. Have they heard of the crank??

Belong to 3 other X-bow forums and there are NO STUPID ADDS on these forums. Why are are they picking on Excalibur and why are we letting them get away with it?

My first crossbow was ordered about 60 years ago from a Field and Stream Magazine. A steel recurve. No sturrup. You put your feet on the limb. One piece wood stock, with arrow grove cut in the wood. As I recall, about a 10" group at 10 yards. They sure have COME A LONG WAY.

Shooting a couple dozen shoots today and was trying to figure out where the most noise was coming from. I shoot into a spyderweb target. The most noise seemed to be generated by the arrow striking the target rather then from the crossbow itself. Next I'll shoot a arrow into the sky to test my theary...

Glad that our State has a age law on the books before getting a license. Makes me sort of nervous to give a first grade child a deadly weapon. I wonder how many states issue a hunting license to a 6 year old? I'm sure he had a license.

A few weeks ago I ran across a site that showed an anti dry-fire device for the Excalibur. It was basically an add on( or replacement) to the scope mount and looked something like a Tenpoint. I've looked for a couple hours and can't locate where i saw it. Anyone else see it? Seemed like a good idea ...

Will the new STS help prevent damage in the case of a dry fire?

I think you got on the wrong forum. This one is for Crossbows, not phones.
