Re: First Black Powder

I know it's a bit pricey but you might try some Blackhorn 209 powder. Tyler and I both shoot CVAs and that blackhorn is awesome unless you enjoy cleaning your ML a lot. Anyhow, that is one sweet looking gun. Let us know when you get a load worked up for it  .

Re: Accurate?

David, tell us about your arrows. The fletchings, inserts, and as One Shot Scott referred to, your choice of head. Tell us what you have.

It's the ir5D. How does the positioning of the camera look? It is pointed towards the East.

Re: Tower stand question

I love it because I can drive within 30 yards of it and it's comfortable enough to sit all day. It's really comfortable with Tyler, Brianna and myself in it. I'd like to have 1 more that size or a REAL comfortable ladder stand. Does anyone know of a decent ladderstand, a two man would be best for Ty...

Re: "Deer Thugs" Questions

I am a Meat Hunter. 'If it's Brown, It's Down' and shortly in the freezer. If a big one wanders by within 35 yards I will put one on the wall, if a small one wanders by! Only trophies on my wall are fish. I have no problem with Trophy hunters, 'to each his own'. We both love to be in the woods. Kel...

Re: Tower stand question

My family got together (three cousins) and built a stand for me that has been very productive. It is a 4'X8' box with a rubber roof, sliding windows, rear door, carpet and a great set of steps that are real close together. The stand is held up by (4) 16ft 4x4 posts that are bolted to the floor band....

Great to see your back is better Ray, I have caught a lot of 'Bull Reds' and I know first hand what they can do to a bad back. Kelley The key is DRAG and plenty of it. The picture of me fighting that fish was kinda staged  . There was a fish on the line but he had already been worn down. Ther...

Re: Kinda hot down here

Bugs, as the servicemen carried my father to his final resting place and played the sad sound of taps on the horn, I remembered thinking of the many things that I wished that I had said and done for my father and I will not make this mistake again. We spend as much time together as possible. If fact...

Kinda hot down here

After a warm, muggy hunt saturday morning, Tyler and I accepted an invitation of a short fishing trip late Saturday evening: I don't know who has whom :D http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q206/270HEAVY/IMG_0803.jpg He finally got him to the boat  http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q206/270HEA...
