Re: Well it's all over but the cryin
The wife and I did some camping at Jordan Lake State park and toured the Chapel Hill area some 20 years ago. Nice State. First place I ever discovered pork rinds. Stopped in at a convenience store and noticed these strips of fat and wonder what the heck it was. So I bought a bag and got hooked on th...

I was stopped on the first day SG as well. I think he pretty much documented everyone's whereabouts that day. No problem as were all above board. But that following Wednesday when we hit our spots in the morning...Someone had been into the private property the night before, and left their chair beh...

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??
What's the public land access like? I've always shyed away from southern ontario because of the lack of hunting opportunities and some horror stories I've been told by friends of mine who tried to hunt the hamilton area. I have an area that I hunt in Hamilton. I would love to hear what horror stori...

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??
It's getting tougher and tougher up here to find land owners who want to let you on. We call it the 'BASSPRO EFFECT' up here. I manage a small retail operation on 48 about 20 minutes North or Stouffville. And like clockwork, on opening day for geese, deer and usually the November controlled hunt we...

Re: First look: Bulldog & Micro 355
From what I can see in the video and excalibur site pic, the Micro 355 looks slightly longer then the 335. Which would explain the extra 20fps.

$1099.?? USD I'm assuming. That's pricey. Maybe I'll stick with getting the micro 335 for $899CDN.

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??
Head to your local town office and have a look at the "tax role" to find out who owns what. Accompanying maps will show you property boundaries. Another is to look at the township GIS survey which will also show property lines as well as 'right of ways'. A UNmaintained(bush) 'right of way'...

Just watched the video. That's hilarious! I recognized Don. I thought it might have been something malicious. Looks like good fun.ComfyBear wrote:Once you go to the Swamp, click on the link in that post. I doubt anyone featured in that video gave their consent to be featured.va3cgt wrote:I don't get it??

Leatherman multi tool yes. Bone saw nope. If you're proficient at quartering a animal there's no need for a bone saw. All cuts should be at joints.vpsaline wrote:hunters in my area recommend a small bone saw. I don't think I would go out in the woods without my leatherman multitool.
