Re: O/T Masters of the Barebow

Met a guy at a job site that had a stickbow in his house and we got talking. Ask him if he wanted to go out to range and do some shooting. Right out to 50 yards he could stick 15 arrows in a row inside a tennis ball size hole. Fingers ,off the shelf, no sights. Told him he needs to come to 3D bow sh...

Re: FOR THOSE WHO EXCAL CB HUNT IN T.P.R. OF NEW YORK

Anthony it's simple....contact one of the Game Wardens in your area and ask him point blank the questions you would ask one of us!! AJ There is the best advice in this whole thread. If he says a 310 is ok, then ask him for a letter to carry with you that it is ok. Bowfishing and shooting from a mov...

Re: Crossbows at ranges

Lots of idiots around. We rebuild some butt stops last fall and found broadheads inside them. We have big signs hanging with no broadheads. People are to cheap to bring their own target to lineup their own broadheads. But we do need idiots in this world, or how would we know we are not all idiots? :...

Re: OT / School me on Air Rifles

Gun heating up and burning machining oil as it gets hot. Don't get excited as it needs a tin or two of pellets through it to tame down. Clean it when you get it and after the first time only clean it as a last resort if it is not shooting good anymore after you check all screws ect. When you clean i...

Re: Lead fragments in venison

Lead is not passed through the body it stays. The ammo shortage is because all of the factories shut down last year for covid they have not been able to catch up. I agree. Furnace parts and everything is hard to get. I have furnaces down now that have been waiting on parts for over a month. Supplie...

Re: OT / School me on Air Rifles

Thanks for all the replies & advice fellas! Appreciated! Have yet to make up my mind, but I am wondering about thoughts on the following one. Fixed barrel, nitro piston, under barrel lever, and 11 round magazine all seem appealing. As is the price. So... Thoughts? Umarex Synergis .22 900FPS htt...

Re: OT / School me on Air Rifles

Either a Springer or a PCP. PCP I find are boring to shoot as they are deadly accurate. Better at long distance. Buy by the time you pay for gun and then a compressor will run another $700 - $1000 on top. You may end up close to $1500 to $2000. Springers are fun to me and depends on you. Do you want...
