Re: Legal ?
Yes, next year here in Missouri, you will no longer need the handicapped endorsement to use a crossbow during bow season.

Re: Excalibur Scope
I looked at the Nikon Bolt and the Excalibur Tach Zone Scope. I didn't like the circles on the recticle of the Nikon Bolt so I bought the Excalibur Tach Zone. The Nikon was cheaper, but to me, I liked looking thru the Tach Zone more than the Nikon..... personal preference. Its sighted in, holding ze...

Re: Lighted nock question
This may have been discussed before but don't see. Had a guy come in today to have a lighted nock put in his Firebolt. No problem but noticed the owner had to first remove the flat nock and then insert the lighted one. Since the flat nock is threaded for possibly using a tool to make removing from ...

Re: Which Excalibur to buy?
I have a SMF Axiom, going on three years. It has never let me down, killed everything it has shot at. Tach Zone Scope, Flemish string, Firebolt 20 inch bolts, speed 295 fps. with 150 gr. field tips or the Bolt 150 gr. fixed broadheads, both fly about identical in my crossbow. A friend shoots a Horto...

Re: Lighted Nocks or Not?
WHY I use Lumenoks ? Last year, shot two different doe, in some thick tall grass. Bolts went thru both, into the grass. Does didn't go more that 20 yards... I looked for both those bolts 4 or 5 different times, borrowed a metal detector... never did find them. I shot them from my tree stand and know...

Re: Firebolt hardware
Does anybody know what is the weight of the front insert of a firebolt? I have had most of the rear inserts come out while pulling them out of my target using the excal bolt puller, but never a front one until now. I guess I better buy some front and rear inserts I lost one the other day with a fie...

Re: FOC and arrow speed
New to site. What is FOC that I frequently see? Also, does anyone know actual arrow speed for Firebolt with Boltcutter BH's shot from Axiom? Thanks. My Axiom with the 20 inch Firebolt arrows with Lumenoks, Bolt Broadheads, and Flemish string.... chronoed 295 fps. consistently. My Tach Zone Scope ha...

Re: Lens Cover Sizes for Tact Zone Scope
The eyepiece size is 41.021 mm., size 16-18 butler creek. The objective size is 38.989 mm., size 10-11 butler creek. On my Tach Zone Scope, I bought the flip up for the eyepiece but just used the clear flip up supplied with the scope for the objective end.

Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur
The proper way of cocking your bow "never has the butt of the stock pointing at any part of your body". I know it seems to be easier when you are directly over the bow when cocking, but after you learn how to cock the bow properly, with the stock along the outside of your leg, it is not t...

Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur
I just had to go cock mine again to see! I keep my bow right next to my right knee and the butt is pretty much pointing right at my gut! I tried a few different ways like you said, but I couldn't get it figured out! I just will keep doing what I have been, and just put my fut WAY into the stirrup. ...
