Maybe your glue is too old, I use Bohning Fletchtite glue works good for me.

well angled away is better than angled towards you,you may have hit the liver if not a lung. just take it slow & be looking out in front of you.if he's still alive he'll probably have a hard time getting up,so you may get another shot at him if needed. Good Luck

be sure to take your bow to finish him off he may still be alive. My nephew gut shot one years ago & we did the same we went back later in the day & he was still alive,he couldn't hardly move,but he had to finish him off. They usually won't go far when gut shot if you dont push them,I've not...

I was using the firebolts that came with my Axiom & they flew great with the FPs but when I tryed my Muzzy 125 3 blade BHs I was getting very in consistent flight,so much so that I would not go hunting till I fixed the problem. I checked everything possible,did the spin test & they were spin...

I've been thinking of doing the same come winter bow season in Jan. There's not alot there but they just melt in your mouth,If your hunting for meat it doesn't get any better than that. Congratulations

I was talking to my Nephew yesterday who has a small Archery & Taxidermy shop & sells Excalibur crossbows. He said he was trying to get more Excalibur Axioms from his wholesale provider & they told him they were sold out. I guess the word is getting around about how awesome Excaliburs are.
