That time of year there can still be ice on some lakes and snow is still possible. Never hunted there but looking on Google maps it's inline with Algonquin park and some lakes in the park can have ice until June.Blackflies should be nonexistant.

Don't forget the ear plug when the Exomax lets fly I've heard trad people flinch nearby. I have noticed there is a distinct sound from it as I to have played with a trad lately.
