Golden Eagle sad to hear about Rosie. Have gone through the same myself. My current lab is 11yrs old and her hips are starting to go. I know the day will arrive when I have to make that decision, not an easy call.

Hang in there Mat. don't forget that they had to cut through the Sternum to get to the "outside" of the heart to replace the arteries. Usually there is a significant amount of blood that needs to be removed after surgery. usually this is done by means of a chest tube. So don't be to upset ...

DropTine your grandmother will do just fine CABG's have come a long way in 20 years. three -four days in CCU then they will send her home. The Cardiovascular surgeons are so good at this now that it's slick.

Sumner I took a doe the second week of October this year. Used Hammerhead 100gr, 2216 easton arrows and original camo vixen. My "guesstimate" is that she ran no more l5-20 yards. double lung slightly high shot.

watched it on the 6:00p.m. news also. Sounds like the young lad was a cancer patient. Nice to see that the lady who owned the kennel was going to donate another jack russell terrier. Unfortunately as hunters we all get dumped into the the same basket.

Pyd -- it is going to overlap bow season in some MU areas. starts Tuesday after Thanksgiving and last for two Sundays. Yes you are going to have Turkey hunters in the wood with you with guns.
