Re: O/T Airguns and busytails.

I'm partial to .20 cal and Crossman Premiers, they've shot great in all my air guns. Hard to believe but a .20 and a .22 weigh the same, believe it was 14.3 gr. .22 pellets can vary in weight. The lead free are around 10 grain, the heaviest 31 grain (Eley wasp magnum). The middle weight fly straigh...

Re: Excalibur Crossbows in 2013

How did you get into the Skunkworks to see the new bows . Security must have been sleeping . Not that it could be confirmed . But I heard they are working on a model that will accellerate the arrow by magnetic pulses . TOTALLY STEALTH !!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ix62_oBGtg ...

Re: O/T Airguns and busytails.

In Europe the Benjamin and Crossmans are not that famous, but we have some Air Force rifles here and there. I own a long range PCP .22 cal, satisfying 70 fpe, you can shoot up to 150 yards with it. It is a total tuned bam 50 with a Weihrauch barrel. A friend of mine and I plan to found a company in ...

Re: Excalibur Crossbows in 2013

If i had to choose in which direction to improve the bow, I would definitely try to make it quieter. To you know how quiet is that device, the TAC 15? That quite would be perfect. And now not so realistic  Read on your own risk. Another cool direction would be to make an xbow, which shoots spe...

Re: Xbow recoil

Is the force that damages scopes some kind of vibration cycle ... Exactly that's going on. The rifle scopes are build to withstand a lot of acceleration, but in one direction- backwards. The Excals have double recoil. The limbs accelerate the whole weapon first backwards, than forwards, than backwa...

Re: Which bow?

The Phoenix is fully ambidextrous, such as the most of the Excals. Maybe one of the other members can recommend the right package for you, I bought only the bow, 5 Gold Tip arrows, 1 spare string (I bought FF sting, but shoot the Excel), 1 string wax and 1 Negrini Bow Case Economy - Black (it is a t...

Re: Scopes?

It depends on how much are you ready to give for a scope. Something middle class that you can consider is the Nikko Stirling Nighteater Scopes. They are specially designed for shooting in low light conditions. They are good rifle scopes and the crossbow can possibly break it. http://www.nikkostirlin...

Re: Which bow?

The new vixen II (the camo ones) come only with a reduced length stock , which can be problematical, if you choose to shoot with the mechanical sights. Your head comes to close to the rear sight and you have too much "air" between the rear and the front sight. The picture is not that good ...

Re: Excalibur flexion concern.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPNJIXmyAvY&feature=plcp First see the rail of this 10 point and than worry about the accuracy of Excal :D . By the way we in the air gun division use for our magnum spring- piston air guns special ultra tough optics. The spring piston air guns have not one, but 3 ...

Der Kolege Boo hat also Recht, es hat etwas mit den Schrauben zu tun. Problem gelöst!

Re: Equinox Stock creak`s a littlebit. Is that normal?

Hallo.

Re: Equinox Stock creak`s a littlebit. Is that normal?

Re: Newbie asks

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the competent answers. It seems that the vixen is just what I need and I'll keep it. It is such a great bow. I'll start practicing with the mechanical sights and buy later some light and compact high quality glass. I'll shoot the hell out of the vixen :D . Best...
