Panic Mode

Barricades are out, gas station out of fuel and waiting on del., store shelves can't keep up with water or ice and the damn phone won't stop ringing! They don't know where Hurricane Gustav is heading, but majority of the models comes right over our parish(St.Mary)and both of my hunting leases. We ha...

I have parked my atv right underneath my stand number of times. Some of my stands are box stand in the middle of pipelines.( a cut though the middle of a section of woods for the natural gas line that run to each gas plant). Very seldom a deer will pass within bow range but I have had number of deer...

Everyone make mistakes and bad judgement at some point in our lives. We're only human! I just learn to laugh at my mistakes and move on. I'm not perfect and I'm yet to meet the one who is.

I had a few of my factory fire bolts do the same thing as you are describing. I think it was just having to pull them out of the target I was using at the time. It was just too much force on the inserts.

Hey Wabi, I was always told by mech. in the oilfield that you get better gas mileage by using the higher price gas ( even 87 octane) because of the quality and additive they used in it. The cheap gas is fine, but it will file out your plugs and cause bad gas mileage. I don't know if that why for sur...

I use a cardboard box and stuffed it with old clothes. Just make sure you cut the zippers and buttons off first. Works fine on field points and easy to pull out. If you shoot the broadheads, make sure you have your foam target you made behind it. You will get a pass though. After a while of shooting...

I took an office hole puncher and punch out some reflective tape. I use the dots on the flat insert at the end of the arrow in case the arrow does go in the ground I can still recover it with my flashlight. Cheap, and effective. :)

My luck the battery or winch would take a crap and be stuck up in a tree. :D Can lighten it by using alum. and down size certain features. Don't think the spreader bar feature would be used. Especially right under the tree I'm hunting.

Judging by the smiles on the little ones, you may end up building another one for their enjoyment as a playhouse. Or they just have that same blood we all have that drives us to hunt. Any how, nice set up. I may be considering the same idea for my little one so we can enjoy the time together , and h...

Two out of the six board heads wouldn't go in. Didn't go any further, just set the other four up for now. I don't think it was glue or the insert, being the others screwed in with no problelm. I compare the threads of the bad ones to the good ones, but couldn't see any diff. or bad threads. I guess ...
