Cocking your bow

I had the same concerns in my situation my first bow was a 150 Parker couldn't use the rope cocker so I got the crank no problem then I got an Excaliber 225 equinox with the crank and it cranks easier than the 150 I think mostly because you don't get to the heavy part till the very end the only bad ...

I didn't want to hear that my Parker eats both sides of the rope where it goes around the sight mount the hooks twist up and over the sides of the stock and the pulleys cut into the rope kinda looks like a cats tail on Halloween in two places about two inches apart

I have a double or magnum size scent tite and the screen on the front is a joke and you have to stick the bow out the front to shoot but for a quick set up it is kind of nifty one other thing if you are hunting in soft ground you will need a piece of plywood or something similar to set the chair on

Equinox

Who shoots an Equinox or any of the other 225 lb. bows? How often do you have to change strings or reserve? Are they substantialy louder than say a 200lb. draw? Do you have a problem with pass throughs on your practice targets? I 've been told by a gentleman that I'm sure knows what he's talking abo...
