Re: Question on what would you pay for vanes

I think Keith has a point here to a degree but i also feel any data is better than no data. all the tester needs to do is use every thing the same. meaning same shafts, B heads, inserts and use the same rest. thats still solid data per person. 100 yards will be a tough one for most but its doable.

Re: ???????????

unless you are measuring the string to a good fixed place on the riser how do you know its out?
if you are looking at the REDs to determine this you chasing your tail.. they move ,expand, contract ect. not a reliable source for tiller measurement.

Opening day gobbler

What an awesome morning here in Ga!! Sorry guys no pics. I dressed him out so fast i forgot to take any. It could not have been a more textbook hunt. Got set up . Waited for daylight and heard first gobble way off to my left. Then i hear one close to my right so I turn that way and give a soft yelp ...

Re: OH NO !

Are you talking the S5 bumpers? did you inadvertently pull one pad out a bit adjusting the string? I wouldnt trust measuring the pads, measure to a fixed point on the riser or to the limbs. I agree the pads are not always even. shoot it a little bit then check the till as newbie said. also a little...
