Well, I'll be honest !!! When I was shooting compound wich I still do on occasion, I as'well looked at crossbow hunter's in a different perspective. I alway's thought of it as cheating till I myself was injured and had to hunt with one for a year. Let me tell you - I love it, and probely will never ...

Don't feel bad I did the same - Stupid me trying to site in and be as still as possible I decided to lay on the ground and shoot. Well the limb's on my old Horton caught the ground and the x-bow jumped back and cut me above the eye. My friend's had a good laugh and so did I, it hurt like hell but it...

The only concern I would have would be with a mech broadhead, I had 100 &125 Spitfires and while shooting into my block target the blades actually came off and lodged in the target somewhere !!! That's why I won't shoot NAP broadheads !!! But for a fixed broadhead I think your over exadirating a...

Folk Horn, I as'well only use alum's in my x-bow, I do this for a couple of reasons 1) When tuning in a fixed broadhead and you can't get the BH to fly right due to an offset w/ fletching's you can alway's heat up the insert and twist it so your blades line up with your fletching's for a faster true...

Hey guy's, Well after putting a new string on and going to blast a few bolt's I relized when the x-bow was cocked it is the paint lifting off my limb's. As Pete said it should not affect the performance any, but it is still kind of a bummer to have this happen. Thank's to Excal Pete said they would ...

Well I use to use the G5 Tekken's when I was shooting compound, but I'm not a big fan of mechanicals when it comes to crossbow's. I use rather Muzzy 4 blade fixed 100gr or the W.A.S.P 100gr Boss. Stick to one of those 2 and you'll love it. Don't do what I did and spend a whole bunch of money trying ...

That's exactly what I wanted to know was if the lines would still be present. So since I have ring's and whatever else not - does the lumi-zone fit right into those ring's or do you have to buy new rings as'well due to the scope size or is it the same as the vari-zone ?
Thank's

lumi-zone scope

Hey guy's, I'm shootin with a vari-zone scope right now and of course I love it, but how does the new Excal lumi-zone scope come into comparrison with this one ? I know they are pratically the same but this one the lines light up right ? So really I have 2 questions for you... 1) Without turning on ...

What do you mean by a short vane ??? I thought they were all the same size ? Unless your talkin about the one vane " usually the odd colour " sitting back a little further on the bolt ?
Am I having an off day or what do you mean ?

I know the feeling ! I lost 2 steelhead and about 40lb's of Deer meat one weekend when The guy's and I were going to have band practice and 1 of the guy's unplugged my freezer so he could plug his amp in . I was pissed considering the only way I found out it was unplugged was from the smell and fly'...

Well, I was out shootin today and stretching in the new string and the crack's are deffiently the paint cracking. I noticed everytime my bow was cocked the paint was lifting off the limb. So Pete I might actually take you up on your offer after the season is done. I would of let it go but one area I...
