What do you do with 15 or more deers worth of meat? I can not eat more then 2 a year and have a hard time even giving it away when I am blessed with more then we can use.

I would stick with the mid-high shoulder shot when rifle hunting.

I am glad you stuck it out with bow hunting it adds so much to your deer hunting season. Both in time allowed in the field and skill in getting a deer within range, tracking, etc.

i'd follow the trail back in the woods about 50-75 yards and setup there since most big bucks will hold their until dark, and then enter the field. Especially in the early season. Now during the rut, a big one might walk out in wide open daylight. If you are seeing deer there in daylight hours then...

Talk about dry!! My spring fed pond has just about dried up and the older gentleman that has lived next to our ranch his whole life says it has never been that low from what he remembers. Talk about dust!!

Kenton, What is this an advertisement or a hunting contest?? In no way shape or form should the type of bow used give a hunter more or less points..!!
