3D Shooting Participant Numbers In Your Area?

I was wondering how the shoot attendance in your variuous areas has been this season compared to previous summers? Some time ago, I posted something to the effect that 3D participation numbers have drastically fallen off in this area. This has continued. We have "brain-stormed" on how to g...

No offense but your club may suffer from being a bit "out of the way" from the major population centres (Toronto, KW, London, Hamilton, etc.) Yeah, I know, you can hear the banjo music out in the swamps here     This is also a problem here, trying to have a good traps...

R.J.

As for spring, we would have to time it after the end of "mud season" here, which can really lower the quality of the experience :x

Good ideas, I will present them and see where it goes from there.

I think more emphasis should be put on these shoots as "hunter practice shoots" or just "fun shoots". Post an ad at the local bait and tackle shops, in the paper etc..."tune up your equipment, get ready for deer season". I also think new people would feel more accepted...

Since its my poll, I cast the 1st vote. In the past 2 years I have seen attendance at shoots in the Niagara Region, not just ours, fall to 50% to 20% of what they were in 2001-2002. It has me wondering; - what might be done, if anything to change this. (The may not be much we can do, I have seen man...

3D Shoot Turn Out in Your Area?

For those of you shooting 3D, I am curious to know how well attended the shoots are in your area and what the turn out trends have been in the past few years.

I am refering to general turn out, regardless of equipment type, class, age of shooters etc.

I don't hunt currently but did from 1969 to 1995. If you count club/target stuff, I am a "diehard". I spent from 9:00 this morning to 4:00 this afternoon helping to get the club's 3D course ready for tomorrow. We'll (work party) be there very early tomorrow to set up and we will be the las...

Re: Which Scope is better?

What's the difference between the Maxzone and the Varizone? When I purchase my new setup which one would you recommend? (Assuming it will be mounted on an Exomag.) The Max Zone's range markers for 30, 40 and 50 yards are at fixed distances, set up for crossbows whose velocity exceeeds 300 FPS. I do...

I like the Vari Zone on my Exocet. My Vixen "wears" the Drop Zone I bought with it in early 2001. I sighted the scope in when I got the Vix, have shot it heavily for three 3D seasons, gone through many strings BUT the point of impact has remaine consistant and I have never touched the scop...

Signing up on the forum is simple, quick, easy enough I can do it  and cost nothing.

I agree, if you want to post, you should sign in. Actually; when this latest forum format was set up, that's the way I thought it was going to be.
