Re: 452X String Give Away!
Thanks Vixenmaster. It will be interesting to see how your string compares to my remaining Flemish dynaflight string in both performance and longevity. I have heard so many great things about the string makers here.

Re: varizone or deadzone for the vixen
I got a dead zone as a replacement scope when the scope on my axiom died. My only comment on it is the original smf scope had better adjustment dials (I don't like the plastic ones). other than that seems like a great scope.

Re: love the new vixen .why would excal discontinue such a c
My guess is they think that more draw weight = more sales as they eliminated all of the older series CB's now and replaced them with narrower CB's with higher draw weights. There are now NO long limb CB's at all except the matrix series if you consider them long limbed.

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
They have had 12 ga. flechette rounds since the Vietnam war. Since each round had something like 12 miniature arrows would they be considered archery? The "Silver Bullets" the Abrams tank fire are also technically a flechette could we use an Abrams tank for Archery deer hunting? video of A...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
If I take the shot out of a shotgun shell and replace it with a dowel c/w broadhead attached and shoot it out of my shotgun is that legal for archery too?

Re: finger guards
I originally did have the angles that way, but I found that with my very large hands it was very uncomfortable. I needed the guards to protect those long fingers, but do not want to impair my ability to use the crossbow. I could easily palm a basketball in the old days.

Re: finger guards
Thanks Folks! After seeing my Dad hurt from 1/2 second of not thinking and seeing some our members with extreme thumb damage I figured a little extra safety was appropriate. I was all ready paranoid but after that one member who wrecked his thumb last fall I wanted to add guards so I never (hopefull...

Re: finger guards
Looks to be no interference as of yet. I do hooks down when using the cocker.
btw if anyone in the North Bay Ontario area needs to make a set I still have about 6'-6" of the angle left. LOL

finger guards
Since having seen my father experience the string to thumb interface and seen several horrific accidents doing the same thing I decided last year to make some finger guards for my Axiom. I started out with wood but that was just too much a pain and not very durable so I went with Black pre-painted a...

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
I had a similar argument regarding magazine capacity for my Remington 7600 pump rifle. I bought a 10 round mag (made by ram-line) when my rifle was new (they were sold at Canadian Tire) when the laws started to change back in the 90's I started to ask questions about if it was still legal and the an...

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
Actually a Vendetta Rangefinder is perfectly legal in Ontario. A laser sight is not. you are comparing apples and oranges. I was bidding on an old Bushnell yardage pro archery bow rangefinder to mount to my Axiom. the yardage pro archery is similar to the Vendetta but does not have angle compensation.
