I think my favorite has to be deer back straps. I like rabbit and squirrel a lot too. I would love a chance to try moose back strap. Anyone had them? Are they as good as deer?

Fdegurse.................. Just to let you know. We've been hunting this property with permissiom for more than 20 yrs. One of the group told me he was hunting within eyesight of me and that my deer fell not to far from him. If that is the case, he had to have seen me dragging it up the ravine. They...

Good for you Ray. Loved the story too. I was laughing so hard at the part where you missed with the powder. It sounded like something I would do.

Thanks everyone. It just makes you lose faith a little when something like that happens. I'll get over it. My hunting partner was out with his son Saturday. He shot a 4pt out of my stand. Thats 2 deer in 2 days. We'll be back at it next weekend.

That doe is going to go very well with one of those fine bottles of wine you have. I know first hand. That was without a doubt one of the best venison meals I ever had.

Got a Buck (almost had it stolen)

Friday evening I decided to hunt one of my buddies ravine stands. It hadn't been used for a while so things grew pretty wild. I still had a few shooting lanes though. At six oclock a buck appeared out of nowhere without a sound. It was missing an antler. I only had about 10 seconds to shoot it befor...

Jamie, I find a lot of the safety harnesses to be a pain in the butt to put on. That's why I just ordered the HSS vest. It's a little expensive but I think it is well worth the investment when it comes to my safety. I really like how easy it is to put on.

Glue for Carbon Bolts

Just wondering if some one can tell me what kind of glue I need for the inserts on the carbon bolts. Thanks
