whatever stuff is around your treestand... nuts, sticks, leaves, gather some up and toss it in the plastic bin... I spray some dead downwind on my stuff before I go. first off...welcome to the forum! I chose the pheonix and I put a parker pin point scope on it. I currently am using slick tricks mags and they shoot great. I really like that set-up. I like mine as well, single crosshair plus the option to illuminate if desired.
I had to make my own tape for the turret yardage... it is a very clear optic and I like the variable magnification.

I have had mine for a couple months as well... It is the best bh target I have ever purchased.. I put armour-all on the arrows with the field points, and they pull out pretty easy...

as soon as you get your boo string you will see more fps..
I don't see the brace height making a huge difference...

I love to be in the deer woods in the fall.. I can smell it now...
The farmer I am hunting on planted golden acorns as well!

I have decided to shoot the standard slick trick 100 this year with my Pheonix, in the first part of the season. (Maybe spitfires later on) I have been shooting at 25yds into a 18-1... I sprayed a little armour all on the first 8" of the the arrow. That Rinehart is an awesome target for broadhe...
