Re: Hows this one!
antler restrictions probably help but what helped that deer more than anything is avoiding hunters for more than 5-7 years... I cant tell the age of that buck but he's over 5.5 years of age. antler restrictions would probably help with more in the line of a lot of 3.5 year old 120-150inch deer being...

Re: Is He a Shooter?
if you had a good look at him and knew him well than pass... I cant tell by the pic but he looks mature. I dont know if he's going to grow anymore.
also, as said why is all the brush in front of the camera? The IR is bouncing off the limbs making the image really bright.

Re: Looking for a tree stand harness
I have the pro but if I did it over I would probably get the treestalker since its smaller and lighter. The pro is nice, but wirth any harness you have the weight. I wore mine when I hunted hang on stands. But sad to say ive mainly gone to 15ft ladder stands with shooting rails now so I dont use it ...

Re: Persistence Prevails
he has more G2 mass than the mainbeams of 90% of the deer here have!
He has to be one of the biggest deer taken on the forums here that I have seen. Congrats! Wish I had something on camera that big to hunt here

Re: Help!! im loosing my mind!!!
zero you bow for 20, 30, 40, and 50. I shoot 60 for fun but Im not shooting a deer that far. Its just to much that can go wrong. Since you shoot alot, do you arrows hit high at 20 or even lower yardage? Its a bow so site her in at 20. next...Shooting at a decoy and a real deer, not to mentiona good ...

Re: 9pt down(nothing huge)
Very nice deer CF :D looks like you put a good hit on him. Now go get the big boy. went in high behind the shoulder and came out right behind the heart. He was close. Amazing how they go from all out alert to basically letting you drink a cup of coffee and pop some popcorn. Lady love is on their mi...

Re: 9pt down(nothing huge)
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Just feels good to break the ice after a few weeks. I'm not downplaying him by any means. I'm very happy with him and as said I'm thinking about putting the picture of my son up beside his board mount when I get that finished. Bucks are finally moving good here. E...

9pt down(nothing huge)
Made the typical boo boo today hunting this morning. I had this guy come in very early in the morning to within 7 yards of my stand chasing a doe. I made a quick judgement and took the shot. I thought he had slightly more mass. He's still a good buck but not one of the ones I'm after. It just goes t...
