Strange First Day of Spring Gobbler Season

Well, Went out at 5:00am, and instead of traveling, I decided to hunt behind the house. Well, as usual, turkeys were gobbling on the other side of the hill, about a half a mile away. I heard two shots, and decided to wait things out near a field I was hunting near. While waiting for things to pick u...

I have the dumbest 110 pound female German Shepherd on the face of this earth. She hates everyone. I have to be careful of company, cause she hates them. That's what I have her for. But when I come home, she tries to attack me. My kid is the only one she does not bark at. I guess she is earning her ...

Just a joke. Big Dog, I did not bet on the Steelers either. No reason to bring origin into it. Yea, bj, peter fonda does ring a bell, was he not related to the communist Jane Fonda, who was responsible for the deaths of some of our Nam POW'S. Sorry, that's just how I remember the fonda's, they shoul...

I disagree big time on the "In my opinion, using different draw weights with a bow is like using bullets of one weight to zero a firearm, then using a different weight to hunt. It is unproductive, and a waste of time and money." Sighted in on a low poundage, so you don't bury your bolts up...

FOC and Math ( pun intended)

I never was good in Math, can someone tell me what percent my Foc is with a 20-5/8" shaft, broadhead included. 19" shaft without broadhead, with a balance point at 9 inches from the tip of the broadhead. And after you figure it out, should I be shooting a lighter head, or a shorter profile...

Any Hoyt or Martin dealer, should be able to help you out. Limbs alone, are not all that expensive. They may also know someone looking to increase their poundage. Just a thought. Butcher
