Re: Thinking about the Axe

I have the axe. I got the Kryptek Raid, it came with the silencing kit and it is a tack driver. My last Excalibur was an Exocet 200 which was very accurate too. I like the fact that the axe is much better for shooting from a treestand or a ground blind with the compact size of the limbs, cocking is ...

Re: New Excal Broadheads for 2020

They look pretty good. My slick tricks haven't failed me yet been using them for years with no problem, but its nice to look at new products too :D

Re: Best target...

You would be better with a dedicated target for both field points and broadheads. I use a Rinehart 18 1 for broadheads and a yellow jacket bag target for field points. Just my opinion. I am sure others will chime in it all comes down to personal preference and what you can afford to spend

Re: diablo bolts

I never pulled the nocks as I didn't need to but with the nocks being shorter in length I don't see a problem.
I tried to post a couple of pictures but I got a message saying board was full

Re: diablo bolts

I just went through this scenario last night. I removed the front inserts from both Easton quills and Black eagle quills last night because I wanted to install 110g brass inserts. New crossbow

I just picked up the Axe 340 Kryptek Raid what a difference from my old Exocet. This bow is a tack driver and so compact and quiet. Loving every minute of it.
