Oh they know how to process, just not skin. They have been helping with pigs since they were youngen's. Well except for the backstraps (which i just fried up a batch of medallions from YUMMY!!!!!!!) this guy is hanging in a resturant fridge that is just to the right out of frame. http://www.ncgunrig...

Axiom gets its first buck!
This is my second crossbow deer, first crossbow buck. 25yd shot through lung and heart, he dropped after 40 yards, in the thickest brush he could find of course! light on the antlers but those don't matter that much to me, had 5 points and seemed to be about 3 or 4 years old. my brothers fiance deci...

Re: Show us your spots!
That gives alot better perspective than the game cam does, thas a nice setup. Especially since i have seen pics of the deer you have coming to that feeder.
One of these days i will be able to get some trail cams, spend too much money on projectile pushers!!!

Re: I saw a parade today!!!
Actually it gored it, my brother heard a gawd awful racket outside one night when he looked out the goat and a buck were having at it. It wasn't a real bad gore but ended up getting infected. Goat aren't known for cleanliness. The only thing we could figure is the buck in his testosterone driven sta...

Re: How to keep deer meat in warm weather?
We usually just get it out of the sun and to the butcher soon. Or, consume in mass quantities. :D We have been known on mornings that several people are bringing us deer, we will fire up the grill and toss the backstraps out of the first one on their. We have a lot of new hunters come to us for pro...

Re: I saw a parade today!!!
I'll give ya the address hehe, this is my brothers fiances property, 100 acres me and him are only hunters and none of the surrounding properties (approx 2000 acres we figured) are hunted except for one that has an occasional bow hunter on it. These deer have no pressure, hence why property owners s...

Re: How to keep deer meat in warm weather?
I bought this after my opening day deer, we can hang about 5 deer in it i think. We do alot of processing for friends and stuff so this will be alot easier than trying to keep track of what coolers need ice. Picked this one up off of craigslist for $300 I was actually just looking for a regular frid...
