Re: Silencing an Eclipse

I put Bowjaxs meant for stabilizers on each of the SST rubbers. I noticed a big sound difference after putting shrinkwrap on the arrow retainer as well as Limbsaver Tentacle Wrap around the stirrup.

Re: Equinox

I had my bow painted this summer. Had to remove the camo finish first. I was able to sand it off the rail and that was hard workl. Gave up trying to sand the riser. Got that sandblasted. The Excalibur finish is amazingly tough.

How to take out the trigger assembly

Here you go "jeshoffstall", my instructions posted here earlier on how to remove the trigger assembly. Remove the scope mount from the crossbow. Looking at the bottom of the crossbow you will see two allen screws, one in the forestock and one directly in front of the trigger (there is an a...

Re: New to the Forum & a new Eclipse XT

Keep that string and serving well waxed! Doing that will give it a much longer life. For string care information check out " http://boocustomstrings.com/importantstuff.html ".

Enjoy the bow, you bought a beauty.

Welcome to Excalibur,

Bill

Re: Still Waiting

I just had a warranty part replacement. It took a week and a half for the Kitchener plant to find one. They said that there were no spares available for my bow as anything built is gone and sold. If I understand this correctly, it sounds like they are having a little trouble keeping up with the dema...

Paint for painting the rail and riser

I want to paint my Equinox's rail and riser black. Had the bow dipped recently and the job was botched up. Want to strip them down and paint both satin black. The stock and limbs are passable, will leave both as is. Not sure of what paint to use that will stand up to the rubbing action of the string...

Re: Remove Dalton Wax

I work in a lab so it would be pure alcohol diluted with distilled water. I am worried about pure alcohol affecting the exposed paint and the rest of the cleat coat.

Re: Remove Dalton Wax

My bow was dipped and a small piece of the clear coat chipped off. I want to repair this . Need all the wax gone to do this. Don't want to replace it with another lubricant. Thinking about 70% or 50% alcohol.

Re: Separating rail for stock

I posted this a while ago. Might be useful here.... Remove the scope mount from the crossbow. Looking at the bottom of the crossbow you will see two allen screws, one in the forestock and one directly in front of the trigger (there is an access hole through the trigger guard). Remove both screws. Du...
