I bought my B-Square mount WITH scope included from Bass Pro . THINK I paid $89.99 . If he can handle the 00buck in the 12 ga. , then turkey loads won't be a problem.

Cajun , I am 5' 11" also and have short arms. My Phoenix fits me better than the others. I could shoot the others but have to stretch a bit and it makes it uncomfortable. But like everyone says , try them out for yourself.

Trick i learned from 3 D shooting . When shooting field tips , lube with dish detergent and water just enough to wet shaft . Use a washcloth soaked in dish detergent and water and keep it handy.

arm rest

Trying to find an arm rest that was called the Steady Rest ( I think ) .
It attached to the forearm and had an adjustable leg that you prop on your hip or where ever. I thought it was made by Hunters Specialties but can't find it .
