Lol ... never heard of the smoke generator! I always hang mine in the barn or the corn crib. The deer here are used to the farm scents.

Re: nock design??
Vixen I was just thinking about trying a TP brush retainer on my Vixen II today. I really don't like how far the arrow retainer sticks out after adding the Guardian on the bow! I ordered one on the thought that if it doesn't work, then I'll have a spare for my Titan HLX. ;) I only use flat nocks eve...

Re: Slingblade
That's funny! I just ordered 2 packs of those exact broad heads and they are sitting on my desk as I type. LOL I called NAP and talked to their tech guy and he said there is absolutely NO difference between the heads that are in the regular packaging and those that say for crossbows! The price diffe...

Re: Scentlok ozone thingy?
I don't condemn anything or any gadgets that makes people feel more accomplished as a stealthy hunter! To each their own, if they think it will help then so be it. No need on trying to make them feel any less of a hunter because they try a gadget! As long as a hunter is respectful to the game and th...

Re: To hot here to hunt
Was 90 here in central Wisconsin today! Was so humid it was almost stifling! Still sick so really haven’t missed any really good early hunting days yet. 😉 I’m hoping to be ready in about another week or two, then watch out deer! Lol 🏹 Hopefully weather will be back to normal for this time of the yea...

Re: Acorn crop?
Here on the farm in SE Wisconsin, we have a huge crop of white and red oak acorns! Luckily there’s a row of oaks along the corner of one of my favorite hunting spots! Now if my health will allow me a few hours soon to get in a blind!

Re: Range Finders
I bought a Halo XRT650 Laser rangefinder for under a hundred and it works awesome. It has the angle compensation, continuous scan, very small & light! Works great from a elevated stand or from a blind.

Re: R.E.D.S. On Exocet 165#
You need the S5 String Suppressors. Same thing as the R.E.D.S just installed differently on the riser. The S5 eliminated a lot of the string oscillation and vibration on my crossbow! I like those versus any of the other accessories they sell! Good luck

Re: If you had a choice?
Well I finally got the S5 String Suppressors, Dissipator Bars, Ex-Shox and Butler scope caps on Pinky. I dipped both the stirrup and the arrow retainer in liquid rubber and they both turned out awesome! Looks almost like the factory sold pieces at a unbelievable price too! Only $22 invested for the ...

Re: Shoot-thru netting . Ill advised?
I used to when I used fixed blade Broadheads, but now I only shoot mechanical broadheads so I won’t shoot them thru the screens. I never had any problems when I did and no it never effected the accuracy from my crossbow. Just brush your blind in really good and put the screens down. Good luck!
