TV Show noise

I'm curious about TV show noise in the ground blind . How does the sound of the hunter and camerman talking not scare the deer ? Is this portion of the filming re acted ? Ray

I'll still hunt but with the gun . Hunting with the crossbow is a precise sport , the kill zone MUST be achieved. Even then, the deer's adreniline kicks in and game can still be lost ! I'm off the bow but not the forum ! Good Luck fellow archers ! Ray

Retiring from X- Bow hunting

The time has come to stop hunting with the X-Bow. At 63, I can't hunt the way it should be done. This is the 3rd. year I haven't used the bow . I'm selling all my X-Bow equipment , Ladder treestands , clothing , and my Ex . crossbow . If interested , 905 772 5236 . Ray

I was watching a hunting show and there is a deer killing problem , I think its called EHD . This disease kills the deer and leaves it foaming ( white ) at the mouth . This destroyer of deer is found in Iowa or Idaho ? Does anyone have any information on this ailment ? The show only had a brief segm...

I worked in a Steel mill in Hamilton , oil , anti-freeze and other toxins were dumped into Hamilton Bay , DAILY ! Over 30 years I witness this dumping and its still happening ! Great fish , too bad you didn't release it . Any fish over 3 lbs. caught in Lake Ontario is not fit for eating ! Mercury , dioxins , mirex and other contaminates are in the meat. The LCBO has a book on pollution levels in fish onthe Great Lakes and the safe levels for consumption . I gave up fishing...

Since I started turkey hunting ( 4 years ) , I ' ve been fortunate to harvest 2 Toms. The 1st ; I peeled the feathers away from the meat and deep fried the whole bird.
