I took a field tip head, ground the point flat. Using a bolt (1/4 inch hex head steel ) the same diameter as the field tip, cut the head and thread ends off. This left a rod 4" long and I rounded both ends. I then welded it horizontally to the flat of the tip to form a "T". This "...

R.J. I was out scouting in my area (89). The old scrapes aren't used as wel las the rubs. The rain has decreased their movement. This monday is round #2 for the controlled deer (shotgun) hunt. I hope the rut is still on after the gun hunt. Ray.
